Welcome to "Plan-Central" for
the coolest Pop-up Pet Portrait Sessions, evah!
WHAT YOU SHOULD WEAR

Guidelines:
-
No busy patterns/prints - the Carnival is busy enough
-
Please do not wear a color that blends in with your dog
-
Your clothing should not restrict you from sitting or squatting.

Your clothing should not attract or show a lot of dog hair
-
NO NEON
-
NO SHORT SHORTS/SKIRTS/DRESSES (we need to move quickly and freely, up and down stairs, etc.)
WHAT YOUR DOG SHOULD WEAR

NO RETRACTABLE LEASHES!

NO BUNGEE LEASHES
-
A harness if necessary to control your pup.

Make sure you like the collar or harness, as they will not be removed in photoshop.
PLEASE BE EARLY
Please :) We only get this one shot.

Plan on arriving well before your appointment time so that there is no chance you will be late.

Make sure you give the pups time to do their business before entering the Carnival.

Don't forget poop bags!

YOUR SESSION
How does it work?
We literally wait on the stairs of a ride while it ends and people get off. We then rush you onto the ride to sit with your pup or have your pup pose as fast as possible, while people are waiting in line to get on the ride next. We shoot quickly and jump off quickly and onto the next shot.
We will decide on scenes when we scout the park before you arrive on shoot day. The Cotton Candy booth, Ticket Kiosk, Carnival Games are musts, in my book. We'll see once we get there (positioning, light, crowd, etc.)
Please do not set your heart on getting on a ride. I will do my best to make that happen, but it depends on a lot of factors that are out of my control (how busy it is, how busy the ride we want is, how well-staffed they are that evening, who they can have running the ride, owner availability and more)

MEET SPOT(S)
Meet Spot #1 is a park bench. Please be there 5 minutes ahead of your appointment time.
(Meet spot #2 is only for those we've spoken with separately.)
LONG WALK & DITCH
This video shows your walk from where you parked, to the meet spot. There is a GIANT drainage ditch that has to be navigated in order to get to the carnival, please be aware!
PLEASE ALLOW TIME!!
The walk from parking to the meet spot is looooooooong! Longer than you would expect. & that's after a looooooong, slooooow drive through the grass to get to a parking spot.
