Get Ready & Get There FAQ's

The biggest key to great photos is preparedness 😁

BE EARLY!

✔ This way you know you won't be late.

✔ No puppy ever minded a quick potty-break before a photo shoot

✔ Early means less stress & they can feel you 😉

✔ If you are late, we can only shoot with the time left in your session.

COLLAR / HARNESS *REQUIRED*

✔ MUST have one or the other on your dog at all times

✔ Must be well-fitted

✔ Make sure you like it (it won't be Photoshopped*)

✔Beware of fixed collar embellishments...if the bow/tie/flower on the collar is near the leash hook and will not move, you will not see it in the photos.**

*We photoshop the leash when possible, but not collars or harnesses. We can accommodate occasional special requests for a fee.

**When we hold the leash, the decoration will slip to the back and there is no way to avoid it in this case.

WHAT TO WEAR - PEOPLE

NO neon, word shirts or loud prints, please.

DENIM AND EARTH TONES are always winners that keep the focus on your faces.

TAKE A SEAT/SQUAT in front of a mirror to check your outfit - you'll be sitting/squatting with your pup!

SKIP THE SKIRT:

 - Flowy skirts seem like a great idea until the wind blows & makes you look like a giant bubble 😬

 - Short skirts seem fun, but you can't do anything but stand in them...and your dog is on the ground 😉
LAYER UP! Temps are Spring-like, but that sun comes in HOT and wind changes everything. You'll want to be able to peel or add layers at a moment's notice.

SUNGLASSES! Especially for Olive Park! Some scenery is only achievable while facing the sun!

WE MIGHT BE LATE! 😬

✔ Poop happens.

✔ We try to stay as on-time as possible.

✔ We appreciate your patience if we are a few minutes behind.

QUESTIONS?

✔ NOW is the best time to ask...just contact us 😁

✔ This sheet refers to pups, but we also love cats, birds, hedgehogs and every creature anyone has brought to us! If you have any non-dog-specific questions, just reach out. 🤗
